The Packers led by MVP Bart Starr broke open a tight game to cruise to a 35 to 10 victory. Running backs Jim Taylor and Elijah Pitts provided a solid running attack but it was the unlikely heroics of Max McGee filling in for the injured Boyd Dowler who stole the show with two great acrobatic touchdown catches that sealed the victory.
