This fantastic outfit is brand new from smoke-free store inventory and is in pristine condition in original display box. Featured photos are of actual outfit for sale.
Betsy debuted on the cover of McCall's magazine in May of 1951. Mothers and daughters shared the fun of reading the adventures of Betsy and her friends. Betsy became an instant hit when she jumped from the pages of the magazine and became a doll.
Betsy takes the stage with her dainty tutu with matching slippers and tights. Her ballet costume features a soft purple, almost lilac, pair of tights, slip on ballet flats, a lilac leotard with darker purple tutu wiht purple flower detail, and a matching headpiece. This outfit was produced by Robert Tonner and designed to fit his 14", vinyl Betsy McCall doll. A small catalog is included with the outfit.
