VIVID ORIGINAL FACE COLOR: adorable PIXIE SMILE, BLUSH CHEEKS, hand painted mini-stroke EYEBROWS, EYELINER & side EYELASHES! . . . ORIGINAL RICH "ROOTBEER" IRIDESCENT NON-SLEEP EYES . . . "COILS OF CURLS" ORIGINAL WIG with bangs . . . this wig was only used on the "STAMP" 1997 14" VINYL BETSY MCCALL DOLL . . . other Tonner Betsy McCall have a straight "Dutch Boy" hairdo as originally seen on classic 1950s Betsy McCall Doll paperdolls . . . Personally, I love this "CURLY TOP" BETSY MCCALL DOLL---THESE CURLS ADD "PERSONALITY!" AND "BOUNCE" TO THIS BETSY DOLL . . . SHE IS SUCH A SWEETHEART---A REAL LITTLE PIXIE! . . . my research discovered Robert Tonner sculpted his "BETSY" while looking at an original Pinocchio doll he had designed for Disney (page 116 of the book BETSY MCCALL: A Collector's Guide by Marci Van Ausdall) . . . it took Robert Tonner 3 months to sculpt his "BETSY"---changing her head design eleven times! . . . hence the "PIXIE" FACE he continued to use for his Betsy line dressed in numerous outfits reminiscent of the MCCALLS MAGAZINE CENTERFOLD PAPERDOLL  . . . MISS CURLY TOP BETSY came to my collection "nakey" so she went on a "shopping spree" in my Doll Boutique, choosing this TAGGED BETSY MCCALL 1997 TONNER "GOING SALING" OUTFIT: Sweet PINSTRIPE BLUE & WHITE DRESS with WIDE WHITE SAILOR COLLAR, trimmed with petite polka dot thin ribbons edging her collar & encircling her skirt . . . original white shimmer spandex tights THAT STILL FIT "SNUG AS A BUG", white cotton embroidered lace trimmed petticoat, white cotton knit panties, & original red satin ribbon hairbow! . . . BRIGHT RED ANKLE STRAP SHOES w/ "gold" oval metal buckles . . . PLUS HER ORIGINAL WOODEN SAIL BOAT with TWO RED PLASTIC SAILS!  . . .
